2008 Camping Upgrades will be available for purchase on Tuesday, March 25th at 12 p.m. CDT. Wakarusa's own version of a "land rush" is a highly anticipated event among Wakarusa veterans, so mark your calendars and plan to purchase your camping upgrades as soon as they're released.

Wakarusa is pleased to offer our patrons options for camping at Wakarusa. Clinton State Park is equipped with over 300 permanent campsites in 2 separate campgrounds. Both campgrounds are surrounded by trees and offer patrons a more peaceful camping option. Campsites are available in two varieties, “Upgraded” and “Premium”:
Upgraded Campsites include a grill and/or fire ring. Some
sites also include a picnic table.
Premium Campsites have the same amenities as the Upgraded
sites, plus water and electrical service.
Sites in Campground 3 are somewhat off the beating path from the festival (approx. 1/2 mile from the general campgrounds, but on the “No Waka Shuttle” route), so we recommend these sites for families and individuals looking for a quieter festival experience. Quiet hours will be in effect in Campground 3 (12 midnight - 6 am).
The 2008 selection process will assign campsites on a "reserved" basis. Wakarusa will devote a message board thread for campsite trading, so if you'd like to trade for a specific site, we encourage you to post to this thread.

Only one (1) camping upgrade is required per campsite.
Each upgraded and premium camp site will receive two (2) vehicle passes to access the upgraded area. Only two vehicles will be allowed per site. Passes must be displayed in the vehicles at all times. Campers and motor homes will be allowed in the upgraded camping area.
A maximum of eight (8) individuals can occupy an upgraded campsite.
Camping upgrades do not include admission to the event. Each camper will be required to possess a valid festival ticket. This policy will be strictly enforced. Unauthorized persons will be escorted off the grounds.
